Croonwolter & Drost, in collaboration with Cruxin and BPI Services, renovated the Police Arrestant Complex in Groningen in just three months. An important part of the renovation is the replacement of the cell control panels in the 44 cells. The Police, Croonwolter & Drost and Cruxin have jointly chosen BPI’s iSmart Touch solution.

Why BPI?

The choice fell on BPI because of the many functionalities and the user-friendliness that the system has to offer compared to competitors. Another important reason is the satisfaction with the implementation and service after delivery from previous projects within Law enforcement. The hardware offered is also unique with IK11 molest-resistant glass and a specially developed housing with rounded corners, an integrated intercom with video connection, webcam and quality speakers for sound. This design fits seamlessly with the wishes of the Police Arrestant Complex in Groningen.

BPI’s iSmart Touch solution, also known as a cell control panel, is used by more than 60 organizations in the Netherlands and Belgium. These are Mental Health Care Institutions (GGZ), Disabled Care Institutions (GZ), Hospitals, Custodial Institutions Service and Law enforcement. This extensive target group guarantees constant further development and quality of the solution.

Practice has shown that the Smart Touch solution makes an important contribution to the safety of staff and the detainee/suspect himself.
