BPI Services has expanded the Managed Card Service in response to the increased demand to personalize smart cards, managing facilities and assigning access rights. There are additional work stations, with access to the CI Provisioning databases and links to personnel and access control systems. The cards will then be send to the customer and activated by the customer upon arrival via remote access to the CI Provisioning database.

Deventer Hospital and BPI Services BV have signed a contract for the supply and implementation of the patient registration system CI Desk, for the registration of patients and the personalization and issuance of patient smartcards. This solution includes CI Desk software, ID scanners, card printers and webcams.

Care institution Pieter van Foreest and BPI Services B.V. have signed a contract for the supply and implementation of an ID Management system for the personalization and issuance of new staff smartcards. The smartcards support the identification at the door and can be used for physical access. Later residents and volunteers also get a smartcard and there will be more functions, such as cashless payment and follow me printing.

BPI started with the development of an interactive touchscreen for isolation rooms. The client can use the touchscreen to influence the light, the music, atmosphere and temperature. The system offers also relaxing games and drawing programs. This facility should contribute to a faster recovery of clients in crisis.

Medisch Spectrum Twente and BPI Services B.V. have signed a contract for the supply and implementation of a central scan solution for digitizing paper files. The solution is part of the project Digital Status Management, aimed at making patient data always and everywhere available to authorized users. The solution consists of high-volume scanners with corresponding Capture Pro software and interfaces to validate data and storing the files.

On Friday November 2th Frank Downes (CEO Grabba International Ltd) and Arjen Baan (CEO BPI Services B.V.) have signed a distribution and maintenance agreement. With the signing of the contract Grabba and BPI extend their existing cooperation further towards the European market. The cooperation includes delivery and maintenance of the multi-deployable mobile scanners of Grabba.
